6th Annual Atlanta Jewish Music Festival Posters

Jazz Poster Design

For this poster, I wanted to incorporate the jazzy theme AJMF is bringing for the 6th annual festival. Although Jazz is defined in many ways, I wanted to capture the classiness and the feel of nightlife through this poster. The instruments are interwovened through the use of lines and shapes and the use of colors on top of black background to bring out that neon feel that many would see in venues.

Isometric Poster Design

For this poster, I sought to create an interactive piece through the use of isometric design. Since AJMF is about the audience and how they interact with the festival, I thought using three dimensional design will engage the audience to interact with the poster.

TV Show Premier Posters

Here are two premier posters for the upcoming season of House of Cards, I wanted to keep it minimal and symbolic so that it geared towards both old and new viewers. For people who have never watched the show, the show is about political scheme about a senator named Frank who hungered for powers and use manipulation, deceit and even murder to break his way to reach the most powerful spot in the government - the presidency.

For the first poster, I wanted to incorporate the theme of manipulation, thus using the puppet hand and showed it controlling the the number three for the third season.

As for the second poster, the cockroach was used to symbolize Frank since he proves to be a very difficult "pest" in the government and a surviver to the midst of political scheme.

Assignment 1: You are the Advertisement

These posters are ads design to promote myself to the company that I've interned at over last semester. Koncept Design Studio (KDS) is a advertising/branding studio which I've greatly enjoyed interning at and these posters pertain to the things that I did while I was over there.

Throughout my internship, we usually attend events or go out on lunch breaks and I'm usually the designated driver. My driving skills came in handy especially during outings we had after going down to Monday Night Brewery down the street. Luckily, my skills as a designer shined brighter and I was able to "drive" the creativity for the company.

One of my newest hobbies is photography and the sushi photo was something that I took during my free time over the summer. After I started interning at KDS, I became the unofficial photographer taking pictures ranging from portraits to products. My ".raw" skills in photography is something that I'm proud of and I'm glad I was able to apply it during my time there.
